Lithuania raises more than 1 million euros in hour to buy radars for Ukraine

Lithuanian campaign "Radarom!" managed to raise more than a million euros on the purchase and delivery of radars to Ukraine for surveillance of airspace.

"1,006,000 euros for one hour," public figure and founder of Laisvės TV Andrius Tapinas wrote on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Computer software company Tesonet has promised to double that amount.

Since Monday, when the "Radarom!" campaign started, more than 5 million euros have been donated for radars for Ukraine in total.

"But nothing ends there - we keep calling, we keep transferring money. We already have more than 5 million euros, but we need to double that amount before the anniversary of the war," Tapinas noted.
