Lithuania teams up with US Mach Industries to explore drone production

Lithuania and US defence technology company Mach Industries have signed a joint declaration on strategic cooperation in the defence industry and support for Ukraine.

According to Lithuania’s Ministry of National Defence, the document was signed in the United States by Defence Minister Robertas Kaunas and Mach Industries President Nathan Diller.

Kaunas highlighted Mach Industries’ work on unmanned aerial and reconnaissance technologies, noting that some of its systems had already undergone testing in Ukraine under real combat conditions, Lithuanian media reports.

The initiative provides for strengthening Lithuania’s defence industry, developing cooperation with the United States and providing long-term support for Ukraine.

During his visit to the United States, Kaunas also met with representatives of Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Palantir and Epirus Inc.
