Lithuania to receive new combat drones from US in 2024

Switchblade 600 combat drones will arrive in Lithuania from the United States in 2024, message on the Lithuanian Defence Ministry's website says.

"We will be the first country after the United States itself, the army of which will be supplied with new drones," said the head of the Ministry of Defencce of Lithuania Arvydas Anušauskas.

According to him, the new UAVs will significantly strengthen the country's ability to protect the redeployment of units.

It is noted that the Baltic country will receive equipment for launching and controlling drones, technical packages and simulators.
