Lithuania will give Ukraine 110 anti-drone guns
Lithuanian journalist Andrius Tapinas said on Twitter that the country will donate 110 of its EDM4S Sky Wiper anti-drone guns to the Ukrainian army.
He noted that the weapons will be delivered soon, and their cost is €1.5 million, Gazeta.ru reports. The weapons will be placed in 35 Ukrainian units.
Earlier it became known that in the south-east of Lithuania, the “Solid Shield” exercises of volunteer paramilitary units integrated into the system of the country's Ministry of Defense were taking place. They are accompanied by similar detachments, specially arrived from Latvia and Estonia.
It was also reported that Germany will increase the military contingent stationed at the Pabrade military base from 2014 from 1,000 to 1,500 people.
It was noted that this could be followed by the expansion of the German-led NATO multinational combat unit in Lithuania to brigade size in the long term.
