Lithuanian president: Iran conflict must not divert attention from war in Ukraine
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda said he spoke by phone with Estonian President Alar Karis to discuss the situation in the Middle East and the security of Lithuanian and Estonian citizens in the region.
“We agreed that the crisis in the Middle East must not divert the international community’s attention from Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine. Europe must remain united and continue its consistent political, economic, and military support for Ukraine,” Nausėda wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports.

The leaders emphasiыed the importance of maintaining focus on European security and solidarity with Ukraine, even as tensions escalate in the Middle East.
