Lufthansa extends flight ban to Tel Aviv until April
17 March 2026 17:58
Lufthansa Group has extended the suspension of its flights to Tel Aviv until April 9, citing ongoing airspace restrictions across the Middle East.
According to Al Jazeera, the airline group has also halted flights to Riyadh until April 5 for operational reasons. However, flights operated by ITA Airways are expected to continue according to schedule.
The report notes that several other major international carriers have taken similar measures. Air Canada, along with major US airlines such as Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and American Airlines, have also suspended flights to Tel Aviv, in some cases until March and in others until April or May, repeatedly extending these suspensions as the conflict persists.
