Lufthansa flight to Astana makes detour and lands in Baku airport

An airplane of the German carrier Lufthansa had to make a landing at Baku's Heydar Aliyev Airport due to foggy weather conditions at the original destination port of Astana.

As Trend reported, the Airbus A330 aircraft landed in Baku on the morning of January 4 carrying 123 passengers.

The captain of the board made the decision to return to the port of origin, Frankfurt, at 08:38 local times.
