Lukashenko reveals youngest son is serving in Belarus army

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said his youngest son, Nikolai, is currently serving in the country’s armed forces, describing his unit as the “most difficult.”
“Nikolai is currently serving in the army in the most difficult unit,” Lukashenko said.
The president made the remarks during a meeting with military officials as he discussed plans to test the combat readiness of Belarus’s entire armed forces, including measures “up to mobilisation.”
Nikolai Lukashenko is the youngest of the Belarusian president’s three sons. According to the official website of the Belarusian presidency, he graduated from the Ostroshitsko-Gorodokskaya secondary school and has interests including hockey, music and foreign languages.
