Lukashenko urges safeguarding Belarus against conflicts, upheavals
Belarus must be protected from wars and other upheavals to ensure its continued development, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated.
“We need to protect our country from cataclysms and wars so that we can calmly and steadily do our work.
And so that Belarus continues to develop at its current pace and remains a beautiful, comfortable place for our people to live. We have everything we need,” Lukashenko said while reviewing personnel appointments.
Addressing newly appointed presidential aides in the regions and district executive committee chairpersons, the Belarusian leader stressed that they would be responsible not only for economic matters and organisational work but also for implementing the country’s broader objectives.
