Macron appears in sunglasses at NATO summit VIDEO

French President Emmanuel Macron wore sunglasses during the traditional leaders' family photo at the NATO summit in Ankara.

Macron stood between German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Finnish President Alexander Stubb for the group photograph, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

The French president has appeared in public wearing sunglasses on several previous occasions. Agence France-Presse, citing people close to Macron, has previously reported that he has an eye condition.

Separately, Florian Philippot, leader of the French Patriots party, previously joked that Macron wore dark glasses because of a slap from his wife, Brigitte Macron.
