Macron condemns Iran strikes on UAE as “unjustified and unacceptable”
French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned Iran’s strikes on the United Arab Emirates, describing them as “unjustified and unacceptable,” and reaffirmed France’s commitment to supporting its regional allies.
According to Caliber.Az, Macron made the remarks in a post on the social media platform X.

“Iranian strikes today on civilian infrastructure in the Emirates are unjustified and unacceptable.
As it has since the beginning of the conflict, France will continue to support its allies in the Emirates and in the region in defending their territory.
A sustainable solution to the current conflict is possible only through the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for free navigation and the conclusion of a solid agreement that will provide the necessary security guarantees for the countries of the region, particularly against threats stemming from Iran in the nuclear and ballistic spheres and in connection with its destabilising activities in the region,” Macron said.
