Macron: Europe, allies strive to ensure just peace for Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron has emphasized that Europe and its allies are committed to securing a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.

His statement follows several days of consultations with European leaders and international partners regarding the ongoing conflict, Caliber.Az reports.

In a post on his official social media page, Macron outlined the shared goal of restoring peace to Ukraine in a way that is fair, durable, and sustainable.

Over the past few hours, I have spoken with @vonderleyen, @eucopresident, @OlafScholz, @Keir_Starmer, @RTErdogan and @PM_ViktorOrban.

"Following discussions over the past few days with European colleagues and allies, we are striving to ensure that peace returns to Ukraine in a just, lasting, and long-term manner," Macron stated.

The French President also underscored the importance of strengthening European security, noting that all future negotiations must prioritize the safety of European nations.
