Macron reaches out to Lukashenko in rare high-level phone diplomacy

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and French President Emmanuel Macron held a telephone conversation.

The discussion took place at the initiative of Paris, Caliber.Az reports via Belarusian media.

The two leaders addressed regional issues as well as relations between Belarus and the European Union, including bilateral ties with France.

Their previous phone call took place on February 26, 2022.
