Macron: Russia must "pay the price" after latest Kyiv strikes
French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned Russia's latest missile and drone strikes on Kyiv and the surrounding region, accusing Moscow of deliberately targeting civilians and calling for increased pressure on Russia.
In a post on X, Macron described the attacks as part of an "unacceptable" policy of terror and said each new strike underscored the need for Russia to be held accountable for its actions, Caliber.

"Russia must pay the price for its aggression and answer for its crimes," Macron wrote, adding that France and its European partners would continue to support Ukraine.
He said the European Union and its allies would step up pressure on Moscow through additional sanctions while increasing military assistance to help Ukraine defend itself and protect its population.
