Magnitude 4.3 earthquake strikes Kyrgyzstan

A moderate earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck Kyrgyzstan on the morning of November 18.
According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, the tremor occurred at 05:56 local time, with the epicenter located 8 kilometers southwest of the city of Naryn, Caliber.Az reports via Kyrgyz media.
The earthquake’s intensity varied across different regions of the country, with tremors reaching magnitudes of 3 to 4 on the scale in various settlements. Despite the shaking, authorities have reported no casualties or significant damage at this time.
The region, located in Central Asia, is known for its seismic activity.
