A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck Pakistan on August 25, according to the Kazakhstan National Data Centre.

Seismologists said the earthquake occurred at a depth of 35 kilometres, at coordinates 34.13°N and 70.11°E, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kazakh media.
