A magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck northern Sumatra in Indonesia on July 22, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The tremor was recorded at 11:18 a.m. local time. The epicentre was located 55 kilometres southwest of Langsa, while the earthquake’s focus was at a depth of 10 kilometres, Caliber.Az reports.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
