Major fire engulfs church in Poland on Christmas morning PHOTO/VIDEO
A significant fire erupted on Christmas morning at a church on Kunickiego Street in Lublin, Poland, prompting the cancellation of all scheduled services.
Emergency teams responded swiftly, with approximately 70 firefighters currently battling the blaze, RMF24 reports.

Authorities confirmed that, fortunately, the church was empty at the time the fire broke out. Reinforcements from neighboring towns have been dispatched to support the firefighting effort.
Officials cautioned that extinguishing the flames could take several more hours, with operations complicated by solar panels installed on the church’s roof and other structural obstacles. Fire crews are maintaining continuous efforts to prevent further damage and ensure the safety of the surrounding area.
