Malaysia Airlines aircraft makes emergency landing in Baku

A Malaysia Airlines flight from London to Kuala Lumpur was compelled to make an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku.

The decision came after the captain requested immediate landing due to a passenger experiencing a severe medical emergency believed to be a heart attack, Caliber.Az reports citing the press service of Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

The Airbus A350 safely touched down at Baku airport at 06:42 local time.

The passenger was promptly evacuated using specialized equipment known as an ambulalift and received immediate first aid before being transferred to an awaiting ambulance crew.
