Man arrested after allegedly stealing Kim Kardashian’s car
A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglarising a Hidden Hills property owned by Kim Kardashian, a US television star, and stealing one of her vehicles, Los Angeles Times reports, citing a law enforcement source.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Koerner said nobody was at the residence when the incident occurred.
The man had reportedly been seen loading several items into a vehicle at the property.
A law enforcement source said Kardashian and her children are currently staying elsewhere while the property undergoes renovations, although her vehicles remained at the home.
Kardashian and her former spouse, Kanye West, purchased the multimillion-dollar Hidden Hills estate in 2014.
The report said at the time that the 15,667-square-foot property featured living and dining rooms, a home theatre, a game room with a wet bar, a panelled library, a gym, eight fireplaces, eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
Kardashian has reportedly expanded the compound since the purchase, most recently acquiring a neighbouring property last fall.
Authorities have not identified the suspect, and the investigation remains ongoing.
