Man injured in Jan. 8 Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih dies in hospital

A 67-year-old man has died in hospital after being seriously injured in a Russian missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih on January 8, local officials say.

Doctors fought to save his life, but his injuries proved fatal.

According to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, seven other people wounded in the same attack remain in hospital. Their condition is described as stable, with all patients reported to be in a moderate state.
