Massive overnight strike hits Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, two injured photo

A large-scale attack targeted the Dnipropetrovsk region overnight into January 13, with Russian forces conducting an intense barrage across multiple districts. 

A woman and a man sustained injuries as a result of the strike and were taken to the hospital with wounds of varying severity.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported that multiple fires erupted in the Kryvyi Rih and Synelnykove districts. In the Zelenodol community of the Kryvyi Rih district, several infrastructure facilities were damaged along with two private houses. In the Vasylkivka community of the Synelnykove district, a private home caught fire, and another structure was also damaged.

In the Solone community of the Dnipro district, a separate private house was affected.

Emergency crews quickly extinguished all fires. In total, 45 rescuers and 13 units of equipment were deployed to respond to the aftermath of the attack.
