Mayor: Drone debris sparked fire in Kyiv office building

A fire broke out at an office building in Kyiv, Ukraine, after debris from a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle fell in the Ukrainian capital, according to city authorities.

The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, said fragments of the drone struck the roof of a four-storey office building in the Darnytskyi district, igniting a blaze on the upper floor.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene to contain the fire and assess the damage. No immediate details on casualties were provided.
