Media accreditation portal launched for COP29
The accreditation platform of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) has been launched for media representatives attending COP29.
Starting from July 2, media representatives worldwide can submit their accreditation applications to the UNFCCC secretariat via the portal, COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company told Caliber.Az.
The COP29 conference will offer media representatives a unique opportunity to cover constructive discussions, critical decisions, and collaborative efforts toward a sustainable future.
Accredited journalists at COP29 will have access to professional content and infrastructure, high-level discussions in person or online, the official conference program, and updates on scientific and technological innovations in climate change. They will also benefit from the conference's digital global audience platform.
Accreditation will grant access to the Green and Blue Zones of COP29, allowing journalists to attend press conferences, briefings, and other media events, as well as access press centers and media zones at the event site.
Prompt application submission is recommended to ensure effective media participation and necessary technical preparations.
