Media: Cargo ship carrying Azerbaijani sailors sinks in Black Sea

A cargo ship carrying Azerbaijani citizens has sunk in the Black Sea, according to Azerbaijani Sailors Support public association.
It said the vessel Svetoslava is owned by Cunda and sails under the flag of Palau, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The ship was travelling overnight from the Turkish port of Samsun to Moldova’s port of Giurgiulești when it sank for unknown reasons.
There were 11 Azerbaijani citizens on board, along with Turkish and Russian nationals.
All those aboard were rescued by coast guard forces that arrived at the scene in time.
The rescued sailors were taken to hospital, and their condition is reportedly satisfactory.
A request for clarification has been sent to the relevant authorities.
