Media: India signs major defence deal with Israel
15 February 2026 16:34
Since the start of 2026, India has signed a package of defense agreements with Israel worth a total of $8.6 billion, Forbes India reports.
The deal ranks as India’s third-largest defense procurement in history, behind only the 2016 Rafale fighter acquisition from France for $8.7 billion and a recent agreement for additional Rafale jets and missiles totaling $39.7 billion.
The new package includes Rafael Advanced Defence Systems’ SPICE 1000 guidance kits, Elbit Systems’ Rampage air-to-ground missiles, Israel Aerospace Industries’ supersonic Air LORA missiles, and Ice Breaker naval cruise missiles.
The agreement underscores the continued expansion of military-technical cooperation between India and Israel.
