Media: Israel halts strikes on Iran at Trump’s request

Israel has stopped carrying out strikes on Iran at the request of US President Donald Trump, according to a senior Israeli official, while maintaining that military operations in Lebanon will continue in the coming days.

The remarks were reported by the Israeli television channel N12, which cited an unnamed high-ranking official.

“On Trump’s request — Israel is stopping strikes on Iran. Strikes in southern Lebanon will continue in full force in the coming days,” the source said.

The official added that Israel would also target the Dahiya if attacks on Israeli towns and civilians persist.
