Media: Israeli Air Force strikes Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon
Israeli Air Force fighter jets carried out airstrikes on the towns of Baraashit, Beit Yahoun, and Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese news portal Naharnet.
The strikes targeted Hezbollah military facilities located in those areas. Thick plumes of smoke were seen rising from the sites hit in the attacks.
Local authorities have not yet reported any casualties or assessed the extent of material damage caused by the strikes.
Earlier on Wednesday, July 15, three Hezbollah members were killed in separate Israeli drone strikes in southern Lebanon.
During the first half of the day, Israeli artillery also shelled the outskirts of the villages of Bani Hayyan and Tallouseh in the border district of Marjayoun after what Israeli forces described as the movement of Hezbollah fighters in the area.
