Media: Kyrgyz transport prosecutor dismissed
Nurgazy Matisakov has been dismissed from his position as head of Kyrgyzstan’s transport prosecutor’s office, according to sources within the prosecutor’s office cited by Kaktus.media.
No official statement detailing the reasons for his dismissal has yet been released by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
According to publicly available information, Matisakov is the nephew of Kamchybek Tashiev, the former head of Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
Matisakov previously held several posts within the prosecutor’s office, including serving as prosecutor for the Uzgen, Zhayyl and Issyk-Ata districts in the Chui region.
His brother, Baigazy Matisakov, is the chief executive officer of Bay Company and Bay-Tash Company. Since 2021, he has also served as CEO of the Jalal-Abad Oil Refinery.
