Media: Moldova, Romania help install pontoon bridges in Ukraine’s Odesa region Photo
22 December 2025 10:06
Engineering units from the Moldovan and Romanian armed forces are assisting in the installation of pontoon bridges in Ukraine’s Odesa region to replace crossings damaged by Russian strikes.
The temporary bridges are being set up to maintain transport links in areas where permanent infrastructure has been severely damaged, the Military Affairs (Voenndelo) writes on Telegram.
Photographs published by the channel show one pontoon bridge being towed toward the village of Mayaki.

Reports indicate that the existing bridge near the settlement was damaged by repeated attacks involving Geran-type drones, leaving it unable to function properly.
