Media: Over 420,000 residents flee southern Lebanon

More than 420,000 people have been forced to evacuate southern Lebanon since the start of military operations targeting Hezbollah, according to local data cited by N12.

The mass exodus began after the group engaged in combat operations and its positions were subsequently struck. 

Authorities report that tens of thousands of residents have also left the Dahiya district, a southern suburb of Beirut that hosts much of Hezbollah’s main infrastructure, as the conflict intensifies in the region.
