Media reports progress in Israel-Hamas talks during Doha talks

A source familiar with the negotiations in Doha has reported progress in narrowing the positions of Israel and Hamas.

According to Newsru.co.il, negotiators are currently adjusting military maps that show the deployment of IDF troops during the ceasefire period. The changes are expected to reflect recent Israeli compromises regarding military presence in the Morag corridor zone.

On July 15, the Israeli delegation, led by Major General Ghasan Alian, the Government Coordinator for Territories Affairs, returned from Cairo, where talks were held on a ceasefire in Gaza and the return of hostages. Media reports indicate that the main topic discussed in Cairo was the issue of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
