Media: Russian bombs keep falling on Belgorod, occupied Ukraine
Russian bombers have continued to drop bombs on Russia’s Belgorod region and territories of Ukraine under Russian occupation, according to reports from ASTRA.
On December 11, a FAB-series aerial bomb fell on Ryleeva Street in the occupied town of Stakhanov (Kadiivka) in Luhansk region.
Subsequent bombs were discovered in Borovskoe, Tavrovo-9, and the village of Bolshoe Gorodishche in the Belgorod region. Another bomb fell near Debaltseve in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic on December 17.
In all cases, the bombs did not explode, and there were no casualties.
ASTRA reports that at least 140 aerial bombs — including 133 FABs and seven UMPBs — and three missiles have fallen from Russian aircraft in Russia and on occupied Ukrainian territories since the start of 2025. In 2024, a minimum of 165 FAB bombs were dropped on these areas.
Bombing incidents have occurred with alarming regularity. On December 6, a Russian bomber dropped a FAB on Belgorod; the ordnance detonated near a residential building on Dalny Lane, injuring one person.
Around 15,000 households temporarily lost electricity, which was restored within a few hours.
