Media: Security guard of Qatari Embassy in Paris killed

A security officer of the Qatari Embassy in France was killed in front of the diplomatic mission.

"A security guard was killed during an argument that took place in front of the Qatari embassy in Paris," the TV channel reported, citing police sources.

The victim died from beatings," according to the BFM TV channel, with reference to law enforcement sources.

The suspect was detained, according to the source, he had not previously appeared in any dossiers of the security service, but was prosecuted for general offences.
