09 February 2026 15:43
One of the four individuals killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli forces in Rafah on February 9 has been identified as Anas al-Nashar, reportedly a member of Hamas’s military wing and the son of Issa al-Nashar, one of the group’s founders, according to Abyu Ali Express.
The identities of the other three individuals have not been confirmed, Caliber.Az reports.
The incident occurred when the four armed individuals emerged from an underground tunnel and fired at Israeli soldiers in the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli forces returned fire, neutralising all four, with no Israeli casualties reported, IDF claimed.
