Media: US envoy Keith Kellogg prepares plans to end Ukraine war, eyes NATO unity
US envoy for Russia-Ukraine matters, Keith Kellogg, has told American allies he is preparing options to end the war in Ukraine, though he denied claims he will present a proposal at this week’s Munich Security Conference.
Sources say Kellogg is focused on engaging with NATO allies and is working to coordinate his efforts with officials from all member countries, Caliber.Az reports via Semafor.
One Western official noted that Kellogg's goal is to establish a united front among NATO nations as part of the broader strategy to bring the conflict to a close.
While the details of Kellogg's proposed options remain unclear, the former National Security Advisor has been active in discussions about Ukraine, reportedly pushing for a diplomatic resolution.
In parallel, US President Donald Trump confirmed that he has been in communication with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the ongoing war.
During an interview with the New York Post, Trump declined to disclose the number of times he and Putin have spoken, saying only, "I’d better not say."
