Media: US envoy to meet Ukrainian delegation in London Photo

The United States' special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, is set to hold talks with a Ukrainian delegation in London, according to AFP, citing a Ukrainian official.

Details of the planned meeting have not been disclosed, Caliber.Az reports.

Senior Ukrainian and British officials have begun a series of high-level talks in London aimed at bolstering Ukraine’s resilience and exploring strategies for lasting peace, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The inaugural meeting between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence of both nations commenced on April 23, with Ukraine represented by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha and Defence Minister Rustem Umerov, and the United Kingdom by Foreign Secretary David Lammy and Defence Secretary John Healey.

Announcing the start of the diplomatic engagements, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated on social media that the first meeting in London had started, with discussions focused on strengthening Ukraine and securing long-term peace.

Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha remarked:

"I arrived in London together with the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, and the Minister of Defence, Rustem Umerov, for a day of meetings with our partners and work on achieving a just and lasting peace for Ukraine and all of Europe."

Sybiha highlighted the significance of the joint ministerial discussions:

"Our first meeting in London is at the level of foreign and defence ministers together with Rustem Umerov, David Lammy and John Healey. We are grateful to Great Britain for its leadership and support. We will discuss ways to strengthen Ukraine and guarantee long-term peace and security."
