Legendary Argentine footballer Lionel Messi, accompanied by his teammates from Inter Miami—Luis Suárez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba—met with fans at the Baku Crystal Hall.
The event, which was part of their visit to Azerbaijan, began with a performance by the rhythm group "Natig" and a concert by the internationally renowned composer and singer Willy William, Caliber.Az reports.
Messi, who expressed his excitement about experiencing Azerbaijani culture, thanked the people for their warm reception. "Thank you all for such a warm welcome, and for your support," he said in an interview with journalists.

A film showcasing Messi's career as a World Cup champion and eight-time Ballon d'Or winner was presented, followed by a live appearance from Messi and his teammates.
Young football players from Azerbaijani teams were given the unique opportunity to play with the football legends, passing the ball to Messi, considered the best footballer in the world.
The event continued with a photo session where the stars posed with young players, children with disabilities, and other guests. Footballs signed by the legends were tossed into the audience, creating an unforgettable experience for the fans.
The event, which attracted thousands of football enthusiasts, also featured a performance by the famous group Morandi. Among the invited guests were children from orphanages, children with disabilities, and families of martyrs from the Patriotic War. All the proceeds from the ticket sales are being directed toward charity.
The football stars also paid a visit to the grave of Azerbaijan’s national leader, Heydar Aliyev, at the Alley of Honor, where they paid their respects and laid a wreath. They were accompanied by prominent businessman Adnan Ahmadzada.
In addition, Messi and his teammates had the chance to observe the majestic Karabakh horses in Baku, expressing their admiration for the animals.
