Militants blow up 11 gas stations in Thailand

Militants have attacked gas stations belonging to Thailand’s state oil and gas company PTT in the country’s south.
According to broadcaster One 31, explosive devices and arson attacks were carried out at 11 facilities.
The incidents took place in the provinces of Narathiwat, Pattani, and Yala and were coordinated in nature. One police officer was injured in the attacks.
Emergency services are dealing with the aftermath, while security forces have been placed on high alert. Thai authorities have launched an investigation, the broadcaster reported, citing law enforcement sources.
