Military Prosecutor's Office comments on detection of Armenian mines in Dashkasan

On October 1-2, antipersonnel mines were found on the territory of Dashkesan district, planted by an Armenian sabotage group during a large-scale provocation of the Armenian armed forces.

The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan confirmed the information to Caliber.Az, noting that 452 anti-personnel mines of the E-001 M type, planted by Armenian sabotage groups in the specified territory, were discovered and neutralised by sappers in compliance with security measures.

"These mines were laid after the Patriotic War. The Military Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan is investigating the case," the Prosecutor General's Office said.
