Millionth fan zone guest in Qatar wins free tickets to 2022 World Cup final
The millionth visitor to the World Cup Fan Festival Zone in Dohar's Al-Bidda Park received tickets to the final match of the football tournament.
Doha resident, Khaytam Mokhtar, originally from Egypt, and his best friend Sarah were the lucky winners, as reported by QatarLiving.
They also received the official ball of the 2022 World Cup, signed by football legends Cafu and Ronald de Boer.
“I can't believe I'm so lucky to be the millionth Fan Fest guest,” Mokhtar said. “Sarah and I came here to have a good time and soon after I was standing on the main stage in front of thousands of people with a football signed by Cafu and Ronald de Boer and tickets to the final. It's just incredible."
Mokhtar hopes to see Argentina's Lionel Messi take on Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo in the final but also supports his own national team of Egypt.
