Mine incident injures two in Azerbaijan’s Khojavend

A mine incident has injured two people in the village of Gizilgaya in Azerbaijan’s liberated Khojavand district, Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action has said.

It noted that a bulldozer operated by Elchin Telman oghlu Abbasov, a resident of Gazakh district born in 1961, struck a mine in an uncleared area, Caliber.Az reports.

As a result, two residents of Tovuz district, Sanan Sohrab oghlu Farajov, born in 1989, and Fuad Ilgar oghlu Ahmadov, born in 2003, were injured.

An investigation into the incident is underway at the Khojavend District Prosecutor’s Office.
