Minister: France not to break uranium contract with Russia

France’s Energy Transition Minister Agnès Pannier-Runacher has said that France would not abandon the contract with Russia for the processing of regenerated uranium from nuclear fuel, as it would be more profitable for Russia.

She made the remarks in an interview with BFM Business TV channel.

"This refusal will bring too much benefit to Russia compared to what the agreement brings them now, so we will not serve Russia," she said.
