Missile and drone attack hits Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi region, one hurt

Russian forces launched a combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s Khmelnytskyi region overnight on February 7, 2026, injuring one civilian and damaging residential property, according to the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration.

The regional authorities said the strike damaged a residential house, while a man born in 1971 sustained a leg injury.

The injured civilian was taken to the hospital, where doctors assessed his condition as satisfactory.

Serhii Tiurin, head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, said additional details on the consequences of the attack would be released later as assessments continue.
