Missile attack from Yemen hits area near Hebron Israel on high alert
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that a missile launched from Yemen landed in the area near Hebron in southern Israel.
Initial reports indicate that no interception measures were deployed by the Israeli aerial defence systems during the incident, Caliber.Az reports, citing IDF's Telegram channel.
According to the IDF, sirens sounded in several regions across Israel following the missile launch, prompting immediate activation of security protocols. The details surrounding the projectile’s trajectory and impact remain under investigation.
In response to the threat, the IDF’s Home Front Command has issued urgent instructions for all residents nationwide to stay close to protected spaces. Movement in public areas is strongly discouraged, and public gatherings should be avoided until further notice.
The Home Front Command advised: “Upon receiving an alert, enter a protected space and remain there until an official update is issued.”
