Missile debris disrupts gas supply in Abu Dhabi

Gas supplies to major energy facilities in Abu Dhabi were temporarily suspended after debris from intercepted missiles struck key infrastructure, according to CNN, citing the emirate’s official press office.

Authorities said emergency response teams were deployed to manage incidents at the Bab oil field and the Habshan gas complex. The Habshan site is home to one of the largest onshore gas processing complexes in the world.

Officials confirmed that the disruption to the gas supply was temporary and linked to the impact of missile debris following interception efforts. Emergency services remain engaged at the affected locations.

No injuries or casualties have been reported.
