Missile, drone debris cause two fires in Kuwait, service says
Kuwait’s fire service said it responded to three incidents after debris fell from missiles and drones launched by the Islamic Republic and intercepted by air-defence systems.
Kuwait Fire Force Spokesperson Mohammad al-Gharib said the incidents included two fires caused by falling debris on June, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
A reminder that earlier, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Iran launched seven ballistic missiles toward Kuwait and Bahrain following earlier U.S. operations against Iranian military assets.
The exchange prompted heightened security measures across the Gulf. Kuwait’s armed forces announced that air defence systems were actively intercepting aerial threats and sought to reassure residents following reports of explosions.
