Moldova reacts to Russian collaborator's threats to strike bridge over Danube

Moldova's Foreign Ministry has responded to recent threats by Volodymyr Saldо, associated with the Russian Federation in the occupied part of the Kherson region, which included direct threats against Moldova.

According to TVR Moldova, the ministry stated that the Russian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova will be urgently summoned to provide appropriate explanations.

"Such statements are absolutely unacceptable. We will not tolerate such expressions directed against the Republic of Moldova. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration will urgently summon the head of the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova, demanding appropriate explanations," the ministry stated.

The collaborator in the Kherson region accused Kyiv of attacking the bridge on an important for Russia Day and threatened to strike bridges in the Odesa region and Moldova.

"The bridge coordinates in the Odesa region, in the Moldovan Dzhurzhuleshti, which were part of Ukraine but were handed over to the Danube during the time of Yushchenko's regime... All these coordinates are known. So there will soon be a very serious response," he stated.
