Moldovan low-cost carrier FLYONE has launched direct, scheduled passenger flights connecting Chișinău and Baku, expanding Azerbaijan's European transit network.
The maiden flight on the new route arrived at Heydar Aliyev International Airport on July 16, 2026, Baku airport's press service told Caliber.Az.

Under the newly established flight schedule, FLYONE will operate the Chișinău–Baku–Chișinău route three times per week, with departures scheduled for Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
Baku airport officials noted that welcoming FLYONE to the capital is part of an ongoing strategic initiative to diversify the airport's airline portfolio and broaden its international route offerings.

The airport press service added that the new direct service is expected to strengthen bilateral transport ties between Moldova and Azerbaijan while driving passenger mobility between the two countries. Detailed ticketing and scheduling information has been made available through FLYONE’s official sales channels.
