Moldovan PM says licences of six more TV channels suspended
Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean said that the Commission for Emergency Situations suspended the licences of six more TV channels, TASS reports.
According to him, the decision was made on the recommendation of the Information and Security Service. They reported that the channels promote foreign interests and are a threat to the country's information security.
On October 24, it became known that the special service of Moldova decided to block access to more than 20 Russian Internet media. The sites of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK), TV channels Mir, NTV, Rossiya Segodnya, REN TV, Zvezda, Vesti and RTR-Planeta were blacklisted.
The statement said that providers were ordered to block Moldovan users' access to these media outlets.
